Barbell Reverse Curl
Barbell Reverse Curl

Doing bicep curls using a barbell has been standard exercise fare for decades. However, by reversing your grip on the barbell so your palms are facing down, you will still do a great job of working the biceps while at the same time giving the top of your forearms a great workout as well. One thing of note when making this change is that you will not be able to lift as much weight at first, so don't get discouraged. It is perfectly natural considering that your forearms are not used to being used in this manner. Once you get them trained up, however, they'll be plenty strong enough, and will add to the "full" look of well-sculpted arms.
