That&#039;s true. It is easy to stick to any habit over the short-term, but it is the long haul that trips a lot of people up.

I think the secret is that you have to be in love with the results that you want. I have been exercising off and on since I was a teenager, but even during periods when I wasn&#039;t as &quot;on&quot; as other times, I still stayed in touch with my desire to be healthy. 

That always motivated me to eventually get back to frequent exercising, and it always kept me from getting &lt;b&gt;too&lt;/b&gt; far off track with my nutrition.

It&#039;s not about a perfect exercise and nutrition plan every day of your life, but it is about making that consistent effort over the long-term. Being truly enamored with your results is a good way to do that. :)</description>

		<description>Thanks for the post. It is an interesting idea to look at long term exercisers and seeing how they stick to their exercise regime. It&#039;s easy to exercise for a few months, the biggest challenge is to stick to exercise in the long term.</description>
