I agree that going to the gym can be very motivational. In fact, it was the energy level at a gym that caused me to ever want to go to one to begin with. 

However, it is not always &lt;b&gt;possible&lt;/b&gt; to get access to gym equipment, especially when traveling, so it is good to have a few bodyweight exercises up your sleeve as well.

Plus, bodyweight exercises are just good for you. I think I'm the only person at my gym who drops the dumbbells after doing chest presses and then hits the floor for some good old-fashioned push ups to really send my muscles running home to Momma! :)</description>
